Born in Artesia, California, I spent my childhood in southern California, and at the age of 15 I relocated to Chandler, Arizona. I would later attend Scottsdale Community College where, in 2015, I graduated with an A.A.S in Audio Production. In May 2017, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Journalism and a minor in Sociology.
I am an Arizona Press Club award-winning journalist and have been published in The Lumberjack, Camp Verde Bugle, Mountain Living Magazine, the Arizona Daily Sun and Flagstaff Live!
My fiction and poetry have been published in both print and online literary journals, and in 2014, I was awarded the Tony Clark Prize for Poetry during the 2014 Vortex Creative Writing Competition.
